About Us
My Insurance Secret exists because our founder Will Adair experienced the insurance industry first just like you. Will is an ordained pastor by training but his introduction to insurance was on the side of representing his mother as a beneficiary with a life insurance claim.
Will got a call that changed his life several years ago after being in ministry for over twenty years.
His mom that never called early, woke him with a frantic before sunrise phone call. His dad was lying in a hospital bed close to dying. Will rushed to the hospital and a few days later was performing his father's funeral. He then days later began helping his mother get his dad's insurance policy to pay out. This process was his first taste of the insurance industry. It was not pleasant.
It took nearly a year to get a simple claim paid out that his father had been paying in on for 38 years. All insurance companies are not equal. Will wanted to make the process better and get people coverage that would pay out quickly when needed.
So after a 20 year career in ministry, he got his brokers license and founded an insurance company. His passion in part is teaching people. He is now creating YouTube and social media videos to help families prepare to get the right type of insurance for them and their families. This site is part of that endeavor. In the years since, he has also helped a few beneficiaries get their claims settled in a timely manner after getting the right policies in place.
Will can't do it on his own so we use a team of qualified state licensed insurance professionals. All our brokers are state licensed, agree to our core values, and confirm their identity before they meet with you over the phone or over services like Google Chat or Zoom.

Can I do it all online?
Mostly. Most of our best products are not available through a client accessible web application as the companies require a broker's license. You do not pay the broker's fees. A broker will take 3-5 minutes and answer a few questions and then the agent will reach out confirm your identity and give you a few best suited options from up to 50+ top rated insurance companies. All companies are rated by AM Best, that has been ranking insurance companies since 1899. The state licensed insurance professional will confirm their identity and provide a security question like a favorite musician, actor, or book. Generally you can get covered in 20 minutes or less if healthy. They do not charge you for their time or service.
